Postcards Overview

See a slightly more alternative view of Melbourne with this series of 6 colourful postcards depicting the soul of the city. All cards are A6 in size and feature urban scenes with people going about their work or leisure. They are scenes from the city that caught my eye at the time and that are special in some way. The locations are:

• The promenade between Station Pier and Princes Pier at Port Melbourne - a boy leaping over cement blocks
• Centre Place at the Flinders Lane end - a couple strolling with umbrella
• The National Theatre in St Kilda - budding actors waiting to enter
• The Northcote Theatre in Northcote - theatre goers on the balcony
• The Auburn Hotel in Hawthorn East - a build up of kegs lining the side
• Rose Street, Fitzroy - recalling the days of the pandemic

The rear side of each postcard is formatted for a written message, address lines and stamp position. The location of the photo is also referenced. Printed on high quality card stock, 350gsm, the front side is finished with a smooth matte laminate, creating a luxurious feel to the touch.
